BATON ROUGE, La. – Transforymx announced today it has named Craig Silvey as Chief Financial Officer. He will oversee all financial operations of the company, including operational financial services, joint ventures, project management and the organization’s health plan.
Silvey co-founded Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers with college friend Todd Graves, serving as co-CEO and treasurer in the late 90s followed by vice president of finance and information technology until 2009. Silvey then started Intergris Solutions, providing consulting services to small companies as well as Raising Cane’s, and acted as executive director of a large joint venture physician group. Continuing his entrepreneurial spirit, Silvey launched Structured Velocity in 2015, consulting small to medium sized companies on corporate growth and financing strategies.
“Craig’s extensive background in finance and entrepreneurship combine to make him an ideal fit for both our long-term goals and our culture at Transformyx,” said James DuBos, Managing Partner and Chief Technology Officer.
An LSU alumna, Silvey also received a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University in Winson-Salem, N.C. He also mentors students enrolled in the Young Entrepreneurs Academy of Baton Rouge.
