BATON ROUGE, La. – Transformyx today announced it has named James DuBos as Chief Executive Officer. With more than 30 years of industry experience, he has served as the company’s Chief Technology Officer for nine years and most recently as managing partner.
At Transformyx, DuBos has focused on infrastructure, cloud, security, collaboration, and enterprise networking solutions to improve systems and functionality for corporations.
In 1995, DuBos founded PremierOne.com, the first commercial internet provider in the state that was later acquired by East Ascension Telephone. Gov. Mike Foster named DuBos to the position of Chief Information Officer, the first in Louisiana’s history, which led to the creation of the state’s Office of Information Technology.
In his many years of experience, DuBos has worked at Blue Cross, General Health System, CPT of Baton Rouge, and Exodus Communications. An entrepreneur with several successful start-ups, he has also mentored over 1,000 technology professionals.
