Microsoft Price Increases

As of March 1, 2022, Microsoft will be implementing changes in the pricing and procurement processes.

There will be a 15% price increase for most email plans. Additionally, licensing plans not purchased for a 12 or 36 month term will be subject to a 20% fee.

12 or 36 Month Term Discount

Pricing locked in for the duration of the term selected (if there is another price increase during the duration of your term, your price will not increase until the term is up)
The amount of email accounts on the initial agreement cannot be decreased throughout the duration of the term
Billing can be monthly, annual, or upfront
Licenses purchased after the initial purchase generate a separate term and cannot be co-termed with your initial purchase
For example, if you buy 20 email licenses on January 1, 2022, for a 12-month term and then need 5 more on March 1, 2022, a new 12-month term agreement would start for 5 putting the end date of the initial 20 on January 1, 2023, and the end date of the new 5 on March 1, 2023. If you chose to go month-to-month, the five new licenses would include a 20% fee.
Licenses purchased can be upgraded, either fully or partially, and will be co-termed with the initial agreement.
For example, you purchase 25 business basic licenses for a 12-month term, beginning on January 1, 2022, on July 1, 2022, you want to upgrade them all (full upgrade) or upgrade some of them (partial upgrade) to business standard licenses, this upgrade can take place and the term will still end on December 31, 2022, once the original 12-month term is over.
